That is the whole window. If nobody accepts before it runs out, Hal tells the person no one was available and carries on alone. Being there is the difference. Esa es toda la ventana. Hal has read essentially everything ever written down. What it has never done is be wrong in your field, at two in the morning, with someone's money or someone's body on the other side of the answer.
So Hal escalates. The person can ask for a human, and Hal can offer one when the conversation looks like it needs lived experience or someone answerable. The request goes to the Hals who are available right then. Whoever accepts inherits the thread — the customer does not tell the story twice. That person is a Hal.
You are not the fallback. You are the reason the system is allowed to be confident everywhere else.

Pending requests are visible to every Hal who is available. Your view is ordered by your rating, interests you share with the person, how close you are and how long they have waited — but that is a suggestion. Several Hals see the same request until one accepts it or it expires. Los pedidos pendientes los ven todos los Hals disponibles. Very little, on purpose: when the request came in, a name or just “a customer”, and a small amount of matching context — a couple of interests, a location. You do not get the conversation and you do not get their memory. Nothing is copied to you until you say yes. When you accept, the thread is copied over and the AI session closes. No portal, no macros, no script: the person keeps writing where they always were, and now you are the one answering. You can read what happened and edit the small working profile for that session — access that ends when the escalation does. Cuando aceptás, el hilo se copia y la sesión con la IA se cierra. An escalation has no booked duration. It runs until the session is closed. Afterwards the person rates you from one to five stars, and that rating is what settles the session — there is no handle time and no supervisor counting your minutes. There is no quota, no class and no closing date. There are no tiers to climb and no rate we assign you. A specialist sets a rate per fifteen-minute unit and chooses which session lengths to offer. Thirty minutes is two units; an hour is four. No. Hals and specialists are independent participants, not employees of Hal. You keep your practice, your patients, your clients, your firm — and we prefer it that way, because the day you stop practising is the day your answers start aging. No. Los Hals y los especialistas son participantes independientes, no empleados de Hal. Conservás tu práctica, tus pacientes, tus clientes, tu estudio — y lo preferimos así: el día que dejás de ejercer, tus respuestas empiezan a envejecer.
How many hours will I actually work?¿Cuántas horas voy a trabajar en la práctica?
As many as you switch on. There is no minimum, no declared block and no schedule: while your availability is on you see the queue and may accept or ignore anything in it; while it is off nothing reaches you. What we will not do is guarantee volume — some weeks your domain is quiet, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Las que prendas. No hay mínimo, ni bloque declarado, ni horario: con tu disponibilidad prendida ves la cola y podés aceptar o ignorar lo que haya; apagada no te llega nada. What happens if I get something wrong?¿Qué pasa si me equivoco?
The person rates the session from one to five stars, and one star means they are charged nothing and you are paid nothing for it. Either side can also file a report, which is stored for the team to review. There is no automatic refund beyond that one star, and there is no file that follows you around. La persona puntúa la sesión de una a cinco estrellas, y una estrella significa que no se le cobra y que a vos no se te paga por esa sesión. Cualquiera de los dos lados puede además hacer un reporte, que queda guardado para que lo revise el equipo. No hay devolución automática más allá de esa estrella, y no hay un legajo que te persiga.

Yes. This is the answer we least enjoy giving and the one you should read twice: Hal verifies and organises participation, provides the conversation, holds and settles the coins and records ratings. It does not carry insurance for you and it does not stand behind your advice. A profile, a badge or a rating is not a substitute for the licence your field requires, and regulated advice remains regulated here. Sí. Does the AI decide who gets in?¿La IA decide quién entra?
Partly, and we would rather say so. There is a twenty-question assessment whose score and decision are stored, and an approved decision can promote an application on its own. There is also a separate path where an administrator approves it by hand. The two exist today and they do not leave you in quite the same state — which is exactly the kind of thing a page like this usually leaves out. En parte, y preferimos decirlo. No. Taking escalations and being listed in Market are two different things, with two different switches. You can take escalations and never appear anywhere, publish a profile and keep immediate bookings off, or unpublish and still be a Hal. A listing is a sign on the door; availability is whether anybody is behind it. No. Tomar escalaciones y estar listado en Market son dos cosas distintas, con dos interruptores distintos. Podés tomar escalaciones y no aparecer en ningún lado, publicar un perfil y tener apagadas las reservas inmediatas, o despublicarlo y seguir siendo un Hal. You should not, yet. Read it, then apply, and judge us by whether it holds. We would rather be measured than believed. Todavía no deberías.
